Things that i love.

1. Driving all alone to a park in the ECR. ( I personally introduced this place to a lot of my friends ).
2. When heads turn to the noise made by my Yamaha.
3. When some code that i have written works ( You see, that doesnt happen often )
4. When I see somebody using the code that i have written ( I have seen this only in my wildest dreams though! )
5. Go-Karting. I have always seen others do better. Its time i improved.
6. Novels. But why does my reading speed remain same after about 50 novels?
7. Music. I know how those who've seen my attempts at it would laugh.
8. Imagining myself on an imported motorbike.
9. Planning for a trip with friends.
10. Making the trip :-)

I guess i would keep adding to the list.

Sachin is injured. So?

Yet another sachin injury. How many of these have we seen in the recent past. Sigh. A lot of people have begun suggesting Sachin should retire with this injury. Wait! arent you getting intolerant with somebody that you were worshipping? This isnt fair. Or is it? Yeah, when he can enjoy the cushion of all the importance that we have given him, he should also bear the outbursts against him when he underperforms. So goes the argument.

There are 2 little articles that talk about Sachin's recent injury, that i came across.

The second one talks about what Sachin can do in the coming 4 months during which he wont be playing any cricket. Funny.

But seriously thinking about it, i too feel that the great man has lost his charm. There were times when i prayed for the opening bastmen to get out so that Sachin could get in. But now, it isn't all that exciting to see Sachin enter the field to bat. But theres a shimmering of hope that says he can regain his form, partially if not fully. What if he recovers? India will not and cannot try all the options that it can otherwise. Hence it will miss out on trying some young guns in time to nurture them for the 2007 World Cup. I am saying this because, i have no hopes that Sachin can continue till the upcoming World Cup. So why waste a slot?. Am i being too rude? I am trying to be practical. Well this is my view in short. Let me know what you think.
